– John 13:1-17
Today we examined the heart of Jesus the Christ who being aware of his full authority and power lowered himself to his knees and washed his disciples feet.
This not only displayed humility but gave us clearly a glimpse of his heart and God’s heart for us sinners. Though we are believers, we are still sinners but are NOT disqualified from his constant cleansing as we come to the cross.
The practical application is that we serve others the same way. In our homes, offices, relationships and wherever we have authority or the opportunity to lead that we take the time to serve and not with expectations but with a pure and sincere heart.
