Today as we gathered we were reminded of God’s amazing love through the examination of the scriptures specifically Ruth 1:1-18.
We examined how in a difficult circumstance where Niomi an Israelite lost her husband and sons during a time when Israel was experiencing famine and spiritual turmoil.
God raised up Ruth the daughter in law of Niomi a moabite woman to not only restore the family lineage to its Israelite roots but brought back Joy and peace to the life of Niomi.
This story invites us to consider how God might be at work in our lives.
God’s grand story of redemption for all creation can be found in seemingly mundane events: tragedy, integrity in the face of opposition, and generosity.
